The weekend of 5/30-6/1, I will be doing tarot readings at the Pagan Picnic in Tower Grove Park (St. Louis). Artist Arleana Holtzmann is very graciously sharing a portion of her tent with me, and I owe her a huge amount of gratitude for her generosity! This is my first time doing readings for the general public. I guess I'm finally testing the waters of expanding my horizons, so to speak.
Clearly it has been a long time since I last posted here. I'm absolutely terrible at maintaining an online presence. Admittedly, I have no interest whatsoever in social networking. However, I suppose if I'm serious about making tarot reading more than just a hobby, I'm going to have to figure out a way to motivate myself to be more productive with publishing content on the Internet. As it stands, at this point I've done hundreds of in-person readings for friends, family members, and people I just happened to meet while socializing in the "real world". For me, face-to-face communication while doing a reading is a key reason why I enjoy doing readings as much as I do.
That said, I actually like watching other people's "pick a pile" readings (I wrote a previous entry about that) on YouTube, so it's not that I have any objections to doing online readings. I just prefer to do readings in person. But, I'm going to make a concerted effort to be more versatile. Seriously. I really mean it this time...
